    Improving Weather conditions on Islay

Sunday and Monday were miserable days, weatherwise that is. We haven't seen the sun and Tuesday wasn't much better although there were some dry spells. Today was a different story, there were some showers but some beautiful clear spells as well and we were glad we saw the sun again. We spent the morning having a nice beach walk at Machir Bay and in the afternoon we gave Annika a good time at the playground in Bowmore where we met the Lady of the Isles! Have a look at the very high tide of Loch Indaal, seen from Bridgend. Only two more days left before we leave for the mainland on Saturday morning....

  • Isle Islay's Space

The Isle of Islay is the southern most island of the Southern Hebrides of Scotland. The island is known for its stunning and unspoilt scenery, the eight working malt whisky distilleries, the wildlife, the unique landscape and the little over 3000 friendly people that live here, also called Ileach. The most comprehensive website of Islay is www.islayinfo.com and this account is linked to that website.
