Cracking Evening seen from Islay ferry

We arrived yesterday evening at Port Ellen and while we left Kennacraig the sun was setting and the sky was crystal clear. As soon as we arrived in the Sound of Jura I saw beautiful colours on the horizon above the isle of Islay and Jura. It was great to sail on the ferry during this time of the evening. One of the images shows the three islands together, Gigha, Islay and Jura.

The Isle of Islay is the southern most island of the Southern Hebrides of Scotland. The island is known for its stunning and unspoilt scenery, the eight working malt whisky distilleries, the wildlife, the unique landscape and the little over 3000 friendly people that live here, also called Ileach. The most comprehensive website of Islay is www.islayinfo.com and this account is linked to that website.
