A Perfect Spring Day on Islay

Today was a perfect beach day. We hopped from Claggain Bay to Ardtalla beach, and from there to Kintra and Kilnaughton. The weather was just perfect and we spent hours on Ardtalla beach and Claggain Bay. Especially Ardtalla beach is a beauty, the beautiful white sands, the deep blue and turquoise colours of the water and the dark blue skies made the beach look like one from a travel brochure for a tropical island. After the stunning sunrise this morning and the magnificent beaches and weather we decided that this was one of our best days ever on Islay.
